Stand with refugees
THIS IS KASSEM.
Kassem and his family led a normal life in a village near Damascus until the day their house was destroyed in the Syrian civil war. He lost his father and his three siblings. Forced to leave their home, Kassem and his mother began the long journey to safety in Lebanon.
When they arrived, JRS was there.

Education
4 million refugee children are out of school.
To bridge this gap in access to education, JRS runs 217 education centres for refugees around the world. We also provide teacher training and postsecondary education. When we educate refugees we stand with them on a path that leads to a hopeful future.
